Creating Programs and Channel Tags

Click on the Programs icon on the left menu. click Create Program in the top right corner.

Complete the form by adding program details. Dropdown menus allow you to select the Organization, Category, Program start and end dates. 

Next, define a price for the program or toggle to activate "Free" program.

Begin adding content to the program by adding the first module. Choose a Module title and description, like "Introduction".  You can add more modules now or later.

The form also has fields for you to select the administrators and instructors who will run the program, and set the privacy settings for the program. You can choose to enable or disable comments on program posts.

You can also choose to make the program public (viewable on the program page and joinable by any member), private (viewable on the program page but admins must approve members), and secret (not viewable on the program page and only joinable by invitation).

You can choose to enable mandatory participation, meaning any community or member invited to the program is automatically enrolled.

By selecting Featured Program, the program is featured at the top of the list of programs under a Category.  For example, if your program is in the "Health" Category, you can find the program at the top of that Category.

Organization members can view channels and select what programs, events, communities, or campaigns they would like to join. Organization admins can define their channels and group content objects into channels using tags.

Channels are viewable by clicking the icon in the left menu.

Now, click submit. And your program has been created!
