Admin: Creating a Webinar

Creating an virtual event on BigHeart is easy. Follow the steps below to get started!

1. First, make sure you are logged into BigHeart. Once you are logged in, make sure you are an admin of the community where you are intending to schedule a conference.

2. Go to the community where you wish to schedule the conference and click the "Events" tab, or click the "Events" icon .

3a. To create an event, simply click or + Create Event This will create a pop-up where you can put in the details of your virtual event. You can choose between a Video Conference or a Webinar/Webcast. The differences are described below. 

3b. Here's what you need to fill in to create an event: 

• Select a community or communities in which the event will occur. 
• Give the event a start time and date and duration.
• Give the event a name.
• Choose who to invite and which role (host/presenter/attendee)
• Fill out the description (OPTIONAL).
• Upload an event image (OPTIONAL). If you want to upload an image that describes what the event is about, simply click the "upload" button. If not, a default event image will be used. 

4. Voila! You've created your webinar!
