Events are virtual meeting spaces or conference rooms that work like other big conference rooms out there. In the BigHeart app, these are located under "Events".
When you click "Events" in the left navigation, it will take you to the aggregated events happening in all the communities of which you're a member. It will organize them from top to bottom, by order of next upcoming event. There are two types of events: video conference and webinar/webcast.
When you are invited to a virtual event you get a link and instructions on how to enter from your laptop or phone along with timely reminders. All you have to do to RSVP is click the green "Going" button if you can attend and the red "Not going" if you cannot. If you hit the "Going" button you will receive timely reminders. If you hit the red "Not going" you will not receive any more notifications regarding that event.
On Web
If you have responded that you will be attending by clicking the green "Going" button, a green "Join" button will appear when the event is about to begin.
Click the Join button to enter the conference room.
On Mobile
If you see a button at the bottom of the screen that says "Continue on Meeting / Webinar", please click that button to allow you to join.
Event Page Refresh: We’ve updated the Event Details page to make it easier to use on both web and mobile. The new design is simpler to navigate and find what you need. You’ll also now see a countdown timer to the event, so you know exactly how much time is left before joining.
